Art exhibition to take place in town hall for one night only

A one-night-only art exhibition titled "Moving Moments" will be held at Swindon Town Hall on July 17, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The show features original figurative and landscape paintings by artist Sheryll K Fox, many inspired by her time sketching at Swindon Dance classes over the past year. The exhibition was conceived by Viv Slayford, director and chief executive of Swindon Dance, who noted the joy of watching Fox's sketches develop into finished artworks and the transformation of the cultural building into an art gallery.

Art Exhibition Explores Identity and Belonging in Scarborough

Three Scarborough art galleries—the Old Parcels Office, Gallery 33, and Mandy Apple—are collaborating on a multi-venue exhibition titled "Here We Are" from June 28 to July 13, 2025. Montreal studio for neurodiverse artists to hold June exhibit

A Montreal art program for neurodiverse adults, called Art Seen, is preparing for an exhibition at the McClure Gallery from June 12 to 22, 2025. One of New York City’s oldest houses to open as its neighbourhood’s first museum

The Hendrick I. Lott House, one of New York City’s oldest surviving structures, is set to become the first museum in Brooklyn’s Marine Park neighborhood. Built in 1720 as a Dutch Colonial farmhouse and expanded in 1800, the house remained in the Lott family until 1989. After the city purchased it in 2002 and completed exterior renovations in 2013, plans are now underway to open its interior to the public for the first time, preserving its unique wallpaper and agricultural history.

Birmingham city centre outdoor art exhibition now Open to visit

The Birmingham Open 25 outdoor art exhibition has opened in Birmingham city centre, organized by Central BID and Colmore BID. The free, annual exhibition returns for its second year, showcasing emerging artists from the Birmingham area under the theme "LIGHT," inspired by the first Birmingham Light Festival. World-renowned artist brings outdoor art exhibition to Anne Springs Close Greenway

The Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, South Carolina, will host "Forest Forms," a traveling outdoor art exhibition by world-renowned artist Huelani Mei, from September 13, 2025, through January 11, 2026. The exhibition features eighteen large-scale powder-coated steel sculptures, including a fox family, flower stacks, and a snake archway, placed along a half-mile trail from the Steele Creek swinging bridge to Lake Haigler. A Creative Culmination

Three graduating seniors at Syracuse University—Lily Ryan, Rumini “Rumi” Nguyen, and Zoe Requena Bustillo—are preparing capstone projects for a final exhibition at the Warehouse Gallery, culminating their studio arts B.F.A. program. Ryan’s work explores queer identity, nostalgia, and the uncanny through mixed-media tinkering; Nguyen crochets objects from memory to process homesickness; and Requena Bustillo creates a puppet theater addressing Venezuelan history, displacement, and immigration.

Local creatives impress judges

The Arrowtown Photography Competition, part of the Arrowtown Autumn Festival, awarded first place to Hazel Alviola for her black-and-white image 'Needhams Cottage'. Alviola, who only began photography last year, expressed disbelief at her win. Judges Todd Weeks and Leigh Jeffery also introduced a 'highly commended' award for Martin Barwood's wildlife photo 'White Faced Heron'. In the concurrent Bayleys Arrowtown Autumn Fest Art Exhibition, Jane Burdon won the $3,500 premier painting award, while Jade Barclay took the $750 best local painting award. Other winners included Lynne Fellows, Lynn Brochere Millar, Olivia Pickney, and Diana Turnbull Anderson, with merit awards given to Angus Milne, Jenny Hill, Tracey Morrow, and Jos Browning.

The winners of the "Useful Art?!
