Albany artist Ainsley Maclean is presenting his first art exhibition, using his artwork to raise awareness about myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), a chronic illness. The exhibition marks a personal and public milestone for Maclean, who lives with the condition.
Hwaseung, a major company based in Busan, has announced its participation as an official partner of Art Busan 2026, an art fair held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 from May 22 to 24. The company will debut "Gallery Hwaseung One," a platform showcasing works by young artists with developmental disabilities, including Hwang Sung-je, Yoon Jin-seok, and Shim Seung-bo—artists hired by Hwaseung. The gallery aims to support these artists and continue social contribution activities in culture and arts.
An exhibition titled 'Pioneers of Omani Art' has opened at the State Tretyakov Museum in Moscow, organized by the National Museum of Oman. Running until August 16, it features 23 artworks by 17 prominent Omani artists, including pieces such as 'The Shirt of Dreams 2' by Musa bin Omar Al Zadjali and 'Faces' by Alia bint Ali Al Farsi, showcasing the evolution of Oman's modern visual art movement through themes of culture, heritage, and natural environment.
