Art Paris 2026: 10 Booths for Great Discoveries

Art Paris 2026 : 10 stands pour faire de belles découvertes

The 28th edition of Art Paris has opened at the Grand Palais, marked by a vibrant and optimistic atmosphere. The fair features a diverse array of works ranging from Fabrice Hyber’s monumental inflatable bears at the entrance to a curated selection of contemporary ceramics, textiles, and innovative paintings. A central highlight is the "Reparation" thematic itinerary curated by Alexia Fabre, which connects various artists through the concept of healing and transformation.

Her great-uncle was Jackson Pollock. Now, her fledgling gallery, Argo Fine Arts, is the talk of Paris

Samantha McCoy, the grand-niece of Jackson Pollock, has launched Argo Fine Arts, a new gallery model operating between Paris and New York. Making its high-profile debut at the 28th edition of Art Paris in the Grand Palais, the gallery is garnering attention for its impressive inventory, which includes works by Jackson Pollock, Cy Twombly, and Charles Pollock. McCoy has opted for an "ephemeral" gallery model that prioritizes artists and clients over permanent real estate, reflecting a strategic response to the current economic pressures facing traditional brick-and-mortar galleries.

Inside Art Paris 2026: a fair shaped by language, memory, and new voices

Art Paris 2026 will return to the Grand Palais from April 9th to 12th, featuring 165 galleries from over twenty countries. This edition is anchored by two major curated themes: 'Babel: Art and Language in France,' led by Loïc Le Gall, and 'Réparation,' an exploration of healing and memory curated by Alexia Fabre. The fair maintains a strong focus on discovery through its 'Promesses' sector for young galleries and a dedicated 'Solo Show' section featuring 24 monographic presentations.
