Swiss mega gallery tied to Laurene Powell Jobs to open in Palo Alto near her offices

Hauser & Wirth, the Swiss mega-gallery, will open its first Northern California location this spring in downtown Palo Alto, inside a former post office at 201–225 Hamilton Ave. The move is widely seen as a bid to be closer to Silicon Valley clients, particularly billionaire philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs, whose Emerson Collective offices are two blocks away.
