Loveland artist brings colorful, bold florals to new Fort Collins gallery exhibit

Loveland artist Annie O'Brien Gonzales, who specializes in bold, colorful floral paintings, is featured in 'The Bright Side' exhibition at The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The show, which runs until June 12, includes her expressive acrylic and mixed-media works alongside pieces by Laura Merage, Tricia Soderberg, and Randall Steinke. O'Brien Gonzales, a former labor and delivery nurse and medical professor who became a full-time artist in 2004, will also teach a floral still life workshop at The Gardens on Spring Creek on May 31.

Allen, who grew up in Loveland and learned photography at Thompson Valley High School, began pursuing photography full-time after selling the electronics company he co-owned in 2023, using the financial cushion to fund his passion. New Loveland gallery celebrates motherhood with inaugural show

Sparrow Art Center, an art education company, has opened a new gallery and teaching facility in Loveland, Colorado, and is hosting its inaugural art show with a Mother's Day theme. The exhibition features work from over a dozen artists, including owner Cody Winiecki, who contributed a painting of a horse and foal. The show includes a free public reception on Saturday evening, as well as painting sessions for mothers and children.
