Top lots included Demétre Chiparus's bronze sculpture "Shimmer" ($33,275 at Ahlers & Ogletree), Andy Warhol's "Marilyn" screenprint ($425,000 at Heritage Auctions), and a Mission oak stand attributed to Gustave Stickley ($87,600 at Kaminski Auctions). Other notable results included Ken Howard's painting "August Bank Holiday" (£32,500 at Sworders) and a pair of chimpanzee paintings by Donald Roller Wilson ($29,520 at Brunk Auctions).
