Alcea Gallery opened in October at 7512 Madison St. in Forest Park, Illinois, owned by Summer Lambert, a former corporate marketer who turned to freelance marketing and decided to launch her own gallery after years of being rejected from museum and gallery jobs for lacking an art background.
