Robbie Williams' songwriter to play at flower fair

Songwriter Guy Chambers, best known for his long creative partnership with Robbie Williams, will perform a piano recital at the Review of Sussex Arts (ROSA) Botanical Art Fair in Chichester, UK, from 1-4 May. The fair, held at West Dean Gardens, brings together over 100 artists and performers from across Europe, featuring a sculpture garden, contemporary floristry, and a botanical art exhibition curated by 18 members of The Society of Botanical Artists. Environmental organization Forests Without Frontiers will host an immersive "Listening to Nature" performance using headphones to amplify natural sounds.

New coffee shop art trail planned for West Sussex for 2026

Four coffee shops across West Sussex will host the Creative Corners Art Trail from March 30 to April 10, 2026, transforming them into exhibition spaces for original artwork by Sussex-based artists. The trail was conceived by Jackie Matthews, a retired entrepreneur who was inspired by her mother and sister, both gifted artists who passed away in 2023 and 2024. Matthews partnered with Dementia Support at Sage House, pledging a share of proceeds to the charity. Artists are invited to submit works themed around food, drink, the South Downs, and the seaside, with a deadline of January 30, 2026.

Cardiff care home raises £2,000 through botanical beauty art exhibition

A care home in Cardiff, Llys Cyncoed, hosted a botanical art exhibition featuring works by resident and award-winning artist Vivien Burgess. The event, launched on October 3 with a champagne reception, displayed 28 original pieces and raised over £2,000 through sales, with proceeds going to Velindre Cancer Centre, Salvation Army and UNICEF, and Children in Gaza.
