Connecting with artists through the University’s annual student exhibition

The University's art gallery at 41 Park Row hosted its Annual Art Student Exhibition from April 10 to April 25, 2026, featuring 75 student artists. Notable works include Kaitlin Espinal's painting "La Casa de Tia Lelia," inspired by her great aunt's house in the Dominican Republic; Jet Coyan's digital photography piece "Trauma Imposter" exploring depersonalization and anxiety; and Deilene Rodriguez's "Vino," which celebrates her Hispanic heritage through a wine-inspired composition. Students credited their professors, classmates, and the University's art classes for supporting their creative development.

Western’s Art Gallery to host student artworks in end of year exhibition

Western Wyoming Community College (Western) will host its annual Student Art Exhibition in the Art Gallery from May 8 through August 28, with a public reception and awards ceremony on May 14. The exhibition features works in painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media by Western students, many of whom are exhibiting and selling their art professionally for the first time. Proceeds from sales will be split between the artists and the college's Art Gallery. The show is curated by Assistant Professor of Art Ben Nathan with student gallery interns.

LCCC Esther and John Clay Fine Art Gallery Opening Reception

The Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Esther and John Clay Fine Art Gallery held an opening reception on April 28th for its annual student exhibition, featuring works in photography, sculpture, and painting. Featured artist Jaden Hamilton noted the value of audience feedback and networking. Gallery coordinator and art instructor Daniel Maw, who has organized the show for five years, emphasized that the exhibition provides students with professional experience and a platform to showcase their creative exploration.
