ARTES DE LA TIERRA

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao has inaugurated "Artes de la Tierra" (Arts of the Earth), a multidisciplinary exhibition curated by Manuel Cirauqui that examines the relationship between contemporary art and the soil. Spanning from the mid-20th century to the present, the show integrates visual arts, architecture, and ancestral Basque knowledge to explore themes of composting, terraforming, and ecological repair. Featured artists include pioneers of Land Art and Arte Povera such as Ana Mendieta, Fina Miralles, and Meg Webster, whose works are presented alongside archival materials and architectural models.

Magazzino Italian Art has announced a major survey exhibition titled "Tutto Boetti 1966–1993," scheduled to run from April 2026 through April 2028. The show features approximately 30 works tracing Alighiero Boetti’s career from his early industrial material experiments in Turin to his later collaborative embroideries and graph paper works. The exhibition draws from the museum’s permanent collection, the Boetti estate, and private loans, and will be launched alongside a scholarly symposium organized with the Fondazione Alighiero e Boetti.

Magazzino Italian Art in Cold Spring, New York, is launching a major exhibition titled “Tutto Boetti 1966–1993,” dedicated to the influential Arte Povera artist Alighiero Boetti. The show features approximately 30 works, including large-scale sculptures like the 1966 'Pavimento Luminoso' and his signature textiles, tracing his career from his 1967 debut in Turin to his final years. The museum will also host a symposium in collaboration with the Fondazione Alighiero e Boetti to discuss the artist's enduring legacy.
