China hosts exhibition of Azerbaijani artists

The Today Art Museum in Beijing hosted an exhibition titled "Dialogue through Art," featuring works by Azerbaijani artists. Organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in China in collaboration with the Innovation Art and Travel Center and the AYDANI Art Gallery, the show included paintings, sculptures, digital art, and animation by both established and emerging Azerbaijani artists.

National Art Museum presents vibrant exhibition within World Urban Forum [PHOTOS]

The Azerbaijan National Art Museum has opened an exhibition titled 'Chronicle of the City of Winds: Baku in the Works of Artists from the 19th to 21st Centuries,' organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Culture Ministry and the museum. Featuring over 80 works of painting, graphic art, and sculpture, the show traces Baku's historical, architectural, and cultural evolution from the 19th century to the present day. It includes pieces from the museum's collection alongside contemporary works, and is part of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), held within the Year of Urban Planning and Architecture in Azerbaijan. The opening ceremony featured speeches by Deputy Culture Minister Saadat Yusifova, museum director Shirin Malikova, and People's Artist Salhab Mammadov, as well as a musical performance by Honored Artist Nargiz Karimova and Zumrud Alizade.

Photo exhibition 'Eternity of a Moment' opens at D'ART Gallery [PHOTOS]

On May 13, 2026, D'ART Gallery in Baku opened the solo photography exhibition 'The Eternity of a Moment' by fine art photographer Anna Ibrahimbayova. The show is the first installment of the gallery's new project 'Homes Warmed by Love and Art,' which explores how creative partnerships shape shared lives and artistic growth. The opening featured remarks by gallery founder Dilara Muzaffarli, an interview with the artist conducted by art producer Sofiko Dvalishvili, and tributes to Ibrahimbayova's late husband, Azerbaijani playwright Maksud Ibrahimbayov, from People's Artist Omar Eldarov and MP Ulviyya Hamzayeva. The exhibition runs through May 15.

Kazakh art exhibition opens in Baku

An exhibition of Kazakh art has opened in Baku, organized by the culture ministries of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Featuring 30 paintings from the Abylkhan Kasteyev National Museum of Art, the show includes works by masters such as Abylkhan Kasteyev, Moldakhmet Kenbayev, and Kanafiya Telzhanov, as well as contemporary artists exploring tradition, spirituality, and national identity. The exhibition will run for four months at an unspecified venue in Baku.
