Capstone Exhibitions begin April 28

The School of Art, Art History & Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present the Spring 2025 Capstone Exhibitions, showcasing the work of graduating undergraduate students in studio art and graphic design. The graphic design exhibition runs from April 28 to May 2, and the studio art exhibition from May 12 to May 16, both at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. Participating students include Dana Clements, Sofie Curto, and others in studio art, and Fatima Al-Jayashi, Reanne Ballinger, and others in graphic design. Featured projects include Chenyu Wu's 'Qloud,' an emotional expression system for individuals with alexithymia, Lindsey Johnson's video game 'Scattered,' and Sophie Kroeker's collaboration with FARINER Bakery.

New exhibition features work from UWRF BFA candidates

Seven Bachelor of Fine Arts candidates from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls are set to present their capstone exhibitions at the Kleinpell Fine Arts Gallery from April 13 to May 1. The showcase features a diverse range of media including ceramics, oil painting, photography, and interactive installations, representing the culmination of the students' undergraduate artistic development.

A Creative Culmination

Three graduating seniors at Syracuse University—Lily Ryan, Rumini “Rumi” Nguyen, and Zoe Requena Bustillo—are preparing capstone projects for a final exhibition at the Warehouse Gallery, culminating their studio arts B.F.A. program. Ryan’s work explores queer identity, nostalgia, and the uncanny through mixed-media tinkering; Nguyen crochets objects from memory to process homesickness; and Requena Bustillo creates a puppet theater addressing Venezuelan history, displacement, and immigration.
