The project, led by the architecture firm Antoine Dufour, transformed the 18th-century Hôtel de Lalande, creating a new open-air passage, a café-restaurant, a ticket office-shop, and improving accessibility and circulation between the historic mansion and the adjacent former prison used for temporary exhibitions. The redesign emphasizes natural light, reveals original stone walls, and incorporates contemporary, clearly distinguishable interventions.
CARLOS RUNCIE TANAKA S CERAMICS IN PINTA LIMA S SPECIAL PROJECT
The art fair Pinta Lima is presenting a Special Project dedicated to the late Peruvian ceramic artist Carlos Runcie Tanaka. Organized by Fundación Pinta, Henrique Faría Gallery, and the artist's estate, the exhibition brings together a selection of works from 2001 to 2007, focusing on his mastery of the clay sphere and his unique visual language.
Hesston College announced the winners of its 2026 Juried Student Art Exhibit. Top honors went to Constance Feldt for her ceramic tile triptych "Tomorrow," Anna Franco for a graphite drawing, Elsa Rayneau for a watercolor, and Evelyn Gaertner for a stoneware teapot. The Affordable Art Fair is returning to Hampstead Heath in London from May 6th to 10th, featuring over 100 galleries and more than 1,000 artworks.
