Glasgow-based artist's explosive work earns place in major UK exhibition

Frank To, an award-winning Glasgow-based artist known for using gunpowder to create explosive artworks, has been selected to exhibit at the Royal Cambrian Academy’s 2026 Annual Exhibition in Conwy, Wales. He is one of only four Scottish artists chosen from 148 applicants. To's recent London exhibitions at the Stafford Gallery, Wimbledon, and the Mall Galleries sold out, and his collectors include actor Sir Patrick Stewart and art patron Michel Witmer, who displays To's work alongside pieces by Picasso and Warhol.

New art exhibition to open this summer as part of Glasgow International 2026

A new two-person exhibition titled "Painting, our mutual friend" will open at Glasgow Print Studio on June 4, 2026, as part of Glasgow International 2026. Young Irvine artist prepares for first major solo exhibition in town

Young Irvine artist Euan Tait, 23, a recent graduate of the University of the West of Scotland, will present his first major solo exhibition at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine next month. The show, running from November 6 to January 10, features a range of new paintings and original prints, many produced at the Glasgow Print Studio where Tait is an active member.
