Graduates’ artwork showcased at Tarble during studio art exhibition

The Tarble Arts Center hosted the opening reception for the 2026 Master of Arts in Studio Art Exhibition, featuring thesis projects from 11 graduate students. The exhibition showcased a diverse range of mediums, including an immersive installation by Vitória Kazanovski that recreated her grandmother’s Brazilian kitchen using audio and textured cookbooks, and a ceramic series by Wendy Peters that highlighted the technical mistakes and evolution of her craft.

Artists present three-minute theses at Tarble Museum of Art

Graduate artists at Eastern Illinois University presented three-minute thesis statements at the Tarble Museum of Art on Tuesday, part of the 2026 EIU Master of Arts in Studio Art Exhibition. Eleven graduates shared their work, including Holly McReynolds, whose birthday-party-themed paintings explore emotional hardship and nostalgia, and Jacob Owen, who focused on album covers as standalone art. Each presentation was followed by audience Q&A.

Seabreeze artists shine in OMAM’s Tradewinds exhibit

More than 100 works of art by Seabreeze High School students are on display at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum (OMAM) in Ormond Beach, Florida, for the annual 'Tradewinds' juried exhibit, running through May 24. The show features 2D and 3D art, including ceramics, jewelry, and mosaics, and is judged by OMAM's Guest Curator Ruth Grim, who holds a Master of Arts from the New York University Institute of Fine Arts.
