Art Monte-Carlo, the boutique art fair in the Principality of Monaco, celebrates its tenth edition from April 29 to May 1, 2026 (preview April 28), under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II. The fair will host 26 international galleries of modern and contemporary art at the Grimaldi Forum, moving to new spring dates and coinciding with the Monaco Art Week (April 27–May 1). An exhibition titled 'Dynastic Jewels' opens at the Hôtel de La Marine in Paris, showcasing over 130 exceptional jewels dating primarily from 1800 to 1920. Dunedin visual artist Ana Teofilo has opened a new gallery and studio on Prince Albert Rd in South Dunedin, the area where she grew up. The space, named after the artist, features her works including the piece "Lanu Musika" ("colour music"), a 72-panel installation created during her art school years that had been in storage until now. Teofilo plans to hold carving workshops and use the space to promote her own work and that of other Pasifika creatives.
The 15th Annual High School Juried Art Show at the Mann Art Gallery in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, held its awards ceremony at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre, drawing students, families, teachers, and community leaders. Peter Smallboy, a Grade 12 student from Big River Public High School, won Best in Show for his charcoal work "Inner Sight," inspired by the beauty of the human eye. Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline of Hanover opened the 8th edition of Monaco Art Week on Monday evening at the New National Museum of Monaco.
