Pace Prints, the storied New York-based print publisher and gallery, has announced it will open its first West Coast location in Hollywood this autumn. The new facility will feature a fully equipped printmaking workshop alongside a gallery space, allowing Los Angeles-based artists to produce technically ambitious works—including etching, woodcut, and large-format printing—without traveling to New York.
Mohammad Omer Khalil, the 90-year-old Sudanese-born printmaker based in New York, is the subject of a multi-city retrospective titled "Common Ground." The anchor exhibition runs through May 31 at the Blackburn Study Center in Manhattan, with satellite events at venues including Twelve Gates Arts in Philadelphia, the Arab American National Museum in Michigan, the New York Public Library, and Anthology Film Archives. Curated by Amina Ahmed and Jenna Hamed, the show spans Khalil's entire career, from his first etching made in Florence in 1964 to large-scale works inspired by Bob Dylan songs, poetry by Adonis, and films such as "The Chalk Garden."
The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) has appointed Vancouver-based independent curator Kate Wong to organize the Curated Spotlight section of its upcoming Miami fair. Wong, formerly a curator at MOCA Toronto and founder of SITE Toronto, selected five galleries and nonprofit spaces—including EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, Spill 180, El Consulado, Romance, and Southside Contemporary Art Gallery—to highlight emerging artists. The fair runs December 2 at Ice Palace Studios, concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach.
A collaborative exhibition titled 'Traces of Humanity' has opened in Margate, England, organized by Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, in partnership with the Lloyds Group of London. The show features works by Gibraltarian artists, members of the Lloyds Art Group, and internationally renowned artists, drawing inspiration from the Gorham’s Cave complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The launch was hosted by the Mayor of Margate, Councillor Katie Pope, and attended by local dignitaries and visiting Gibraltarian artists. Curated by Philippa Beale, the exhibition will travel to the Noho Gallery in London's West End from 20th to 29th May before arriving in Gibraltar in June.
NADA Miami has announced its 23rd edition, taking place December 2–6, 2025, at Ice Palace Studios. The fair will feature 140 exhibitors from 30 countries and 65 cities, including 47 first-time participants such as Foundry Seoul, Post Times, and Brigitte Mulholland. The Curated Spotlight program, now in its sixth year and supported by TD Bank, will be organized by Vancouver-based curator Kate Wong, who selected seven galleries and artists—including Devin N. Morris, Ana Alenso, Alessandro Balteo-Yazbeck, Faith Icecold, Huey Lightbody, Mahari Chabwera, and Marissa Delano—to present works exploring power structures, identity, and collective histories. The fair will also host the ECOLOGIES public programming series.
The University of Liverpool's Victoria Gallery & Museum will present "Making a Mark: Artworks from the Studio Prints Collection" from June 13, 2026 to January 30, 2027. The free exhibition features 45 prints by seven British artists—including Frank Auerbach, Lucian Freud, and Celia Paul—created at Studio Prints, a pioneering printmaking workshop founded by Dorothea Wight in 1968. The works were gifted to the university in 2019 through the Arts Council England Cultural Gifts Scheme and will be displayed for the first time.
The Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, in collaboration with the Studio Museum in Harlem, has opened "Mavis Pusey: Mobile Images," a retrospective of the Jamaican-born abstract artist Mavis Pusey (1928–2019). The exhibition spans two floors of Pusey's paintings and archival materials, showcasing her geometric abstractions that translate urban construction and gentrification into fractured planes and rhythmic blocks of color. The show was sparked by Studio Museum director Thelma Golden's discovery of Pusey's work in an online auction catalog a decade ago, leading to a collaboration with curator Hallie Ringle.
The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at the University of Pennsylvania is hosting "Mavis Pusey: Mobile Images," the first museum retrospective of Jamaican-American artist Mavis Pusey (1928-2019). Curated by Hallie Ringle and Kiki Teshome, the exhibition spans five decades and features over 60 works, including seven paintings shown publicly for the first time. Pusey, who studied at the Art Students League and worked at Robert Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop, was known for her geometric abstraction at a time when many Black artists focused on figuration. The show will travel to the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles and the Studio Museum in Harlem.
Arthur Buxton, a master printer who previously worked with Banksy's former manager Steve Lazarides and has produced prints for artists including Sir Peter Blake, has relocated from Bristol to the village of Corpusty in north Norfolk. There, he has established his own printmaking workshop and studio, describing the move as a dream come true. An exhibition of his recent prints, titled "Slugs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails," is currently on view at the Allen Hall Gallery in Glandford until January 18, exploring themes of dreams, nightmares, and fantasies.

The 'Galloping into the New Year – 2026 Ningxia Zodiac Printmaking Spring Exhibition' opened on January 18, 2026, at the Yuecai City Public Art Exhibition Area in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Organized by the Ningxia Artists Association and co-organized by its Printmaking Art Committee and the Ningxia University College of Fine Arts, the exhibition features 101 works, including 81 selected from an open call and 20 invited pieces from established printmakers. The opening ceremony was attended by association officials and artists, and a printmaking workshop was set up to allow visitors to try the art form.
