Clara Wu Tsai, owner of the New York Liberty, and CULTURED Arts Editor-at-Large Sophia Cohen hosted an evening at Barclays Center in Brooklyn to honor artist LaToya Ruby Frazier. The event celebrated the debut of Frazier's first outdoor public art commission, "The Liberty Portraits: A Monument to the 2024 Champions," which reimagines the plaza as a tribute to the women's basketball team. Dubai's DIFC transforms into open-air art gallery with over 50 sculptures

Dubai's Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has been transformed into an open-air sculpture park featuring over 50 artworks placed across walkways, plazas, and open spaces. The exhibition, titled 'Enduring Forms,' includes notable pieces such as Jerzy Kędziora's 'Pearl’s Guardian,' Elena Rede's 'We The Future,' and works by Unus Safardiar, Anna Chekh, Mert Ege Kose, and Ayla Turan. The sculptures are integrated into the daily environment of offices, cafes, and restaurants, creating a seamless blend of art and urban life. The park is free to visit and will remain on display until May 2026.

The Next Wilmington Art Loop Opens Friday, June 6, 2025

The next Wilmington Art Loop, a free citywide art exhibition, opens on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5–9 PM. Now in its 38th year, the event is a partnership between the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Out & About Magazine. Participating venues include The Delaware Contemporary (featuring RADIUS and ARC 25 exhibitions), Wilmington’s Redding Gallery (hosting the City of Wilmington Employee Juried Art Show and a display on the Tubman-Garrett statue), The Mezzanine Gallery (showcasing Jen Hintz Eggers), MKT Gallery (presenting Troy Jones’s “Ancestral Echoes: Masks We Wear”), and Bridge Art Gallery. A free shuttle, provided by the City of Wilmington Parks & Recreation Department, will run from The Delaware Contemporary parking lot, with riders voting on additional gallery stops.

Announcing the 2025 Fay Chandler Emerging Art Exhibition Award Winners

The City Hall Galleries in Boston are hosting the Fay Chandler Emerging Art Exhibition, featuring works by local emerging artists, free to visit through January 30, 2026. OCTC hosting student art exhibition, closing reception set for May 14

Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) is presenting a student art exhibition titled “Pathway Through Humanity” at the Dayman Art Gallery through May 14. The show features works by graduating Associate in Fine Arts – Visual Art degree candidates Wyatt Woods, Selena Lopes, and Kris Grenier, spanning drawing, painting, fiber art, and mixed media. Indy airport exhibit features artists with disabilities

A new exhibition opened April 10 at the Indianapolis International Airport’s Civic Plaza, featuring 92 works by 90 Hoosier artists with developmental disabilities. The show was organized by the Indianapolis Airport Authority in partnership with the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Inc. (INARF) and Ability Indiana, with artists from 12 INARF member organizations contributing pieces in a variety of mediums. The airport’s arts and culture program, which rotates permanent and temporary collections, has hosted this annual showcase for several years, with some artists returning each year with new work.

Rock Falls Tourism has announced two Calls for Artists for the 2026 Art in the Park Sculpture Walk and Outdoor Art Gallery, to be held on August 29, 2026, in the RB&W District in Rock Falls, Illinois. The Outdoor Art Gallery will feature a juried exhibition of original artwork from 10AM to 4PM, with a $250 Best of Show prize, while the Sculpture Walk seeks eight sculpture pieces for a year-long rotating public exhibit, offering selected artists a $1,250 stipend. Applications for the gallery are due June 2, 2026, and for the sculpture walk by June 1, 2026.
