Heartware Store & Gallery in Singapore has been transformed into a love hotel for a NSFW art exhibition by Taiwanese artist Ikuiku, titled 'Ikuiku Love Hotel.' Running from January 24 to March 15, 2026, the solo show pairs cute, seemingly innocent illustrations with sexual humor, featuring risograph prints, a new zine debut, and themed merchandise such as hotel keychains, towels, memo pads, and a condom blind box. The opening weekend includes an invite-only preview, live portrait drawing, and an artist talk.

Where to see art in Singapore this week (Oct 24 to 31)

South-east Asia's largest art book fair, the Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF), returns from October 31 to November 2, 2025, with over 120 exhibitors—its largest edition yet. The fair moves to a larger venue at New Art Museum Singapore and Whitestone Gallery, with ticket prices unchanged from 2024 ($6 online, $8 on-site). About half the exhibitors are first-timers, including Saigon-based studio WEDOGOOD, Cairo-based Rizo Masr, and local participants like graphic design trio Hause, Con-Temporary Art Editions, and visual artists Chin Lew and Isabell Hansen. The pilot Thing Books Residency Programme presents three new artist books by musician Yuen Chee Wai, filmmaker Seth Cheong, and vocalist Nur Wahidah. Visitors can also register for bookmaking workshops at additional cost.

I'm bringing my Bottoms exhibition to my home city

Sunderland-born artist photographer Dean Raymond Gooch is bringing his debut solo exhibition, "Bottoms," to his home city at the National Glass Centre's NGCA gallery. Opening January 31, the show features large photographic works, screenprints, and risograph prints that explore gay identity and communities through pop art, advertising, and fashion photography. Gooch, a recent University of Sunderland graduate and current MA student, was nominated for the New Blood Art - Emerging Art Prize 2025 and received The Lizzie Rowe Award. A second exhibition, "Smoke and Mirrors," opens simultaneously, featuring 15 contemporary artists who challenge traditional landscape representation through digital and mixed media.
