59th Carnegie International tests the limits of connection and inclusion
The 59th Carnegie International, titled "If the word we," opens at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, curated by Ryan Inouye, Danielle A. Jackson, and Liz Park. The exhibition emphasizes community and collaboration, featuring immersive installations by artists such as Shala Miller, Jasleen Kaur, and Georges Adéagbo, whose work incorporates local thrift-store finds like Pittsburgh Steelers merchandise.
