"I'm So ATL" Campaign to transform Atlanta parks into a living art gallery

A new public art initiative called the "I'm So ATL" campaign will transform dozens of Atlanta parks into a living art gallery this summer. Led by the Atlanta Music, Arts and Culture Foundation, the three-phase project will feature murals and large-scale installations by local artists, starting in 50 to 60 parks with plans to expand to up to 400 locations. Early installations are set for Piedmont Park, Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, and Mayor's Park, and the campaign will culminate in a free cultural festival from August 7–9 at Piedmont Park.

The show juxtaposes Du Bois's pioneering studies on Black life in America with current imagery, creating a dialogue between past and present.
