'We hope the young people involved will remember this, feel proud of what they’ve created, and carry that legacy forward'

A pop-up exhibition featuring artwork created by children and young people will be held at King George V Park in Staveley, north Derbyshire, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11am to 2pm. The free event, funded by Arts Council England and delivered by Chesterfield’s Cultural Education Partnership, Creative Revolution, will display pieces from hundreds of contributors alongside works by professional artists, creatives, and community groups. Live performances and artwork from local schools will also be featured. Over the past six months, the partnership has delivered free, artist-led workshops to more than 570 children across Chesterfield, with seven professional artists working with eight schools and Chesterfield College students on collaborative pieces that will be unveiled at the exhibition.
