Florentina Holzinger, an Austrian artist, performer, and choreographer born in Vienna in 1986, has been selected to represent Austria at the Venice Biennale 2026. The article traces her career from her early work *Silk* (2012), which won the Prix Jardin d’Europe at ImPulsTanz Festival, through boundary-pushing pieces like *Recovery* (2015), *Schönheitsabend* (2015), *Apollon* (2018), and *Tanz* (2019), which earned a Nestroy Prize.
