Painting personal narratives
Three former Bahrain residents—Catherine Paje, Butch Paje, and Father Peter Ronald Eugenio—will showcase their works at an exhibition titled "The Art of Belonging: Narrative of Filipinos in America" at the Philippines Consulate in San Francisco, running from June 8 to June 19. Catherine Paje, the lead organizer, presents her acrylic painting "Shared Vision" honoring 80 years of Philippines-US diplomatic relations; Butch Paje offers ballpoint pen sketches of Filipino national heroes; and Father Peter Ronald Eugenio displays photographs of Filipino caregivers' hands, emphasizing empathy and service.
