Tintastic art exhibition coming to Old Fire Station Gallery
Collage artist Roger Bamfield, who previously lived in Wargrave and the Reading area, will present his first exhibition at the Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley from June 4 to June 9. His show, titled "Tintastic! The Tin Man comes to Henley," features labor-intensive tin constructions and collages that explore themes such as gender roles, social issues, conflict, and war, using vintage and contemporary tins layered on MDF panels. Bamfield, a former art psychotherapist who worked for 30 years in the NHS, now focuses exclusively on his own artwork.
