Fairview Museum to feature ‘True Grit’ art exhibition by Utah artist A. Dawn Riddle
The Fairview Museum in Fairview, Utah, will host a special open house on June 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the opening of “True Grit,” a solo exhibition by Utah artist A. Dawn Riddle. The exhibition, which runs through Aug. 28, features Riddle’s oil and mixed-media paintings rooted in landscape, memory, and emotional storytelling, inspired by her upbringing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and her current home in Utah. Riddle studied under artist J. Kirk Richards in Provo and with Patrick Devonas in Switzerland, and her work explores themes of belonging, resilience, and connection to place, often depicting western scenes, horses, and mountain vistas.
