Large installations and small works. The new research of American artist Nancy Lupo on view in Milan
Grandi installazioni e piccoli lavori. Le nuove ricerche dell’artista americana Nancy Lupo sono in mostra a Milano
American artist Nancy Lupo (born 1983 in Flagstaff, AZ) presents her solo exhibition "Paraselene" at Spazio Veda in Milan. The show takes its title from a rare atmospheric phenomenon that creates the illusion of multiple moons, signaling a perceptual shift. It features large spherical sculptures evoking celestial bodies, kinetic suspended elements, a video installation, and everyday objects transformed into works. The exhibition is accompanied by a text by curator Alan Longino, which approaches Lupo's practice through biographical fragments and episodic notes, emphasizing that the work resists fixed interpretation.
