Ford Airport launches rotating art exhibition program showcasing Upper Peninsula artists
Ford Airport in Iron Mountain, Michigan, has launched a rotating art exhibition program called "ART at IMT" to showcase local and regional artists. The first featured artist is Sara Westcott, who works under the name "Frozen North Art" and creates pieces inspired by Upper Peninsula landmarks such as Kitch-iti-kipi and the ore dock. The airport has already selected its second artist, photographer Todd Witzman, whose work captures the region's rugged landscapes. The program, organized by the Ford Airport Art Committee, features three-month rotating exhibitions and is open to artists interested in participating.
