Norton Museum celebrates the art of women creators in two major shows

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida, is presenting two major exhibitions celebrating women artists. The first, "Danielle Mckinney: Shelter," is a survey of over 40 paintings and five watercolors by the New Jersey-based artist, running through October 4, 2026, as part of the museum's 2026 Recognition of Art by Women (RAW) series. The second, "Recognition of Art by Women: In Retrospect," is a group show running through September 27, 2026, featuring works by nine artists previously exhibited in the RAW series, including Jenny Saville, Phyllida Barlow, Nina Chanel Abney, and Njideka Akunyili Crosby. The exhibitions are curated by J. Rachel Gustafson and Arden Sherman, respectively.
