Carole Feuerman exhibition draws crowds to QCC art gallery opening

Acclaimed sculptor Carole A. Feuerman returned to Queensborough Community College (QCC) for the opening of "From Line to Life," an exhibition at the QCC Art Gallery that traces her evolution from early drawings to her celebrated super realist sculptures. The show, which opened May 28, features works including a deeply personal self-portrait and a signature swimmer motif, alongside rarely seen drawings from the 1960s and 1970s being shown publicly in the U.S. for the first time. Feuerman recently received the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center.
