San Francisco Asian Art Museum features Nymphia Wind costume exhibition-News-Radio Taiwan International
The San Francisco Asian Art Museum is hosting a special exhibition of costumes by Nymphia Wind, the winner of the 2024 season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Wind appeared at the June 11 ribbon-cutting ceremony and symposium, and due to high demand, the museum added more artist-talk sessions. The exhibit features three iconic garments: her banana dress, the off-white gown adorned with Taiwanese elements like clouded leopards and pheasants, and a purple opera-inspired costume. The dresses are on view from June 12 to June 14 in the Shriram Experiential Learning Center.
