Miami Airport Showcases Local Art Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026
Miami International Airport has launched a new FIFA World Cup-themed art exhibition titled "Beyond the Pitch: Artists in Their Field" at the Gate D31 Gallery, running through 10 August 2026. The show features 14 South Florida artists exploring football's cultural impact through diverse mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, and video. A companion student exhibition, "GOOOAL! Kicking Off Creativity: Miami’s FIFA World Cup Celebration," is also on display in The Children's Gallery through 14 October, created by Miami-Dade County Public Schools students.
