Local artist Luann Carra will present her solo exhibition “Re Do” as the final installment of the 2025 Good Taste art exhibition series at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore. The show opens October 1 and runs through December, featuring Carra’s mosaic works made from mirror, tile, glass, and found objects, inspired by nature themes such as waves, trees, horses, mermaids, and fish. Carra, an upcycle artist who studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and previously won the hotel’s Couture Tree Competition, will also host a free opening reception at LB Bistro & Bakery on October 1.
The exhibition matters because it highlights the Lord Baltimore Hotel’s ongoing commitment to showcasing local emerging artists through its rotating Good Taste series, which began in 2018. The hotel, owned by the Rubell Family—avid art collectors—houses 2,500 original works of art throughout its spaces, and some pieces from the series have entered its permanent collection. Carra’s inclusion amplifies the role of community-focused, sustainable art practices in Baltimore’s creative scene, while also offering visitors a chance to purchase affordable original artwork.
