Veronica Ryan: Unruly Objects

The Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the Wexner Center for the Arts have co-organized an exhibition titled "Veronica Ryan: Unruly Objects," curated by Tamara H. Schenkenberg with curatorial assistant Molly Moog. At the Wexner Center, the presentation is further organized by Schenkenberg and Julieta González, head of Visual Arts. The exhibition is supported by a range of funders including ENGIE, the American Electric Power Foundation, and the Mellon Foundation, among others.

This exhibition matters because it brings together two major institutions to highlight the work of Veronica Ryan, a Turner Prize-winning sculptor known for her explorations of materiality, memory, and diaspora. The collaboration between the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the Wexner Center underscores the growing institutional recognition of Ryan's practice, while the extensive list of public and private funders reflects the broad support for contemporary sculpture and underrepresented artists in the museum world.
