The 47,000-square-foot indoor space and 23,000-square-foot outdoor area will house exhibitions, residencies, performances, and a new residency program called Art + Water, led by author Dave Eggers and San Francisco Arts Commission member JD Beltran, providing affordable studio space for emerging and underserved local artists. CAST is investing $300,000 and the Port $500,000, with a two-year lease and an option to extend, aiming to open in January 2026.
