Genesee gallery to open spring art show this weekend

Little Pink House Gallery in Genesee, Idaho, will open its 2026 pop-up exhibition season this weekend with a new show titled “CONNECTIONS.” The exhibition features works by four regional artists—Ellen Vieth, Jean Arnold, Ann Christensen, and Katy Ann Fox—who explore themes of community, place, and everyday connections through painting and pottery. The show runs Friday through Sunday, May 29–31, at the gallery located at 157 N. Elm Street.

The show matters because it highlights the role of small-town galleries in fostering local artistic communities and providing a platform for regional artists. By centering on the theme of human connection, the exhibition underscores how art can strengthen social bonds and reflect shared experiences, which is especially significant in rural areas where cultural venues are limited.
