Open Call for the 2026 Vignette Art Fair Announced

Texas Vignette, a Dallas-based nonprofit supporting women artists in Texas, has announced an open call for its 2026 Vignette Art Fair. The juried fair, which exclusively features women artists, will be held at the On The Levee venue in the Dallas Design District. Alison de Lima Greene, the Isabel Brown Wilson Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, will serve as the 2026 juror. The application deadline is June 26, with a $36 fee, and selected artists will receive 100% of sales proceeds from the fair on October 2–3.

The Vignette Art Fair matters because it directly addresses the persistent underrepresentation of women artists in museums, auctions, and galleries, aiming to bridge the gender disparity gap in the Texas art scene. Now in its eighth year, the fair provides a dedicated platform for women artists to exhibit and sell their work, with full financial benefit going to the artists. The involvement of a prominent curator like Alison de Lima Greene underscores the fair's growing significance in the regional art landscape.
