Depot Gallery Expands Its Creative Reach for Summer 2026 in Montauk

The Montauk Artists Association is preparing for its 2026 summer season at The Depot Gallery, located in a former Long Island Rail Road station. The season, running May through October, features rotating exhibitions every two weeks, including the annual members exhibition 'The End I' with nearly 70 artists, thematic group shows like 'The Glass Works Show' and 'Say It With Flowers,' and solo exhibitions by Amy Pollack and David Slater. The gallery is also expanding community programming with free educational excursions to historically significant Montauk sites, glass fusing workshops, and outdoor Art Shows on the Green.

This matters because The Depot Gallery is deepening its role as a cultural anchor in Montauk, blending local artistic talent with community engagement. By emphasizing thematic group exhibitions over traditional solo shows and adding educational tours, the gallery strengthens the connection between art and Montauk's identity, supporting artists at all career stages and fostering a vibrant, accessible art scene in a seasonal resort community.
