Door County North announces first-ever Liberty Grove Art Stroll

Door County North has announced the first-ever Liberty Grove Art Stroll, a weekend-long event scheduled for June 13 and 14, 2026, in northern Door County, Wisconsin. The stroll will feature 13 participating venues including galleries, artist studios, pottery workshops, gift shops, food and beverage makers, and The Clearing Folk School, spanning from north of Sister Bay to Gills Rock. Sponsored by the Door County North Community & Business Association, the event aims to let visitors meet local artists and artisans in a relaxed, small-town atmosphere. Six of the participants previously opened their doors for the Ellison Bay Spring Art Crawl in May.

This event matters because it strengthens the local arts ecosystem in a rural, tourist-dependent region by fostering direct connections between artists and the community. By combining visual art venues with food, craft, and educational stops like The Clearing Folk School, the stroll promotes cultural tourism and supports small creative businesses. It also highlights the area's rich tradition of handmade pottery, painting, and artisan goods, helping sustain Door County's identity as an arts destination beyond its summer season.
