This unique, free exhibition opens its doors in Paris: discover the works of Daniel Brush at L'École des Arts Joailliers

L'École des Arts Joailliers in Paris is presenting a free exhibition titled "Daniel Brush: The Art of Line and Light" from June 8 to October 4, 2026. The show features over 75 pieces of jewelry, sculptures, and paintings by the late New York artist Daniel Brush (1947–2022), including works leaving his studio for the first time. Highlights include the "Rings of Infinity" engraved aluminum rings, the gold-and-steel "Orb," and animal brooches from "La Ménagerie Magnétique." The exhibition is accompanied by free guided tours, demonstration workshops, and creative workshops for children.

This exhibition matters because it introduces the French public to Daniel Brush, a self-taught artist who remains relatively unknown in Europe despite his innovative fusion of jewelry, sculpture, and philosophy. By presenting his work in a dedicated jewelry-arts institution, the show challenges traditional boundaries between fine art and craft, emphasizing the poetic and luminous qualities of materials like steel and gold. The free admission and educational programming also make high-level art accessible to a broad audience, reinforcing the École's mission to promote jewelry culture as a serious artistic discipline.
