In un’officina di una cantina vinicola di Treviso si è svolta una residenza per artisti. La mostra

The fifth edition of the Officina Malanotte artist residency, organized by Tenuta Bonotto Delle Tezze in Vazzola, Italy, concluded with a group exhibition featuring works by artists Angelo Bellobono, Paolo Bini, Chiara Peruch, and Silvia Vendramel. Held from May 18 to June 5, 2026, in a former tractor repair workshop behind the winery, the residency invited the artists to engage with the site's industrial memory and the surrounding landscape of the Piave river. Curated by Daniele Capra with artistic direction by Nico Covre, the exhibition runs until July 5, 2026, and presents the outcomes of three weeks of creative exchange, dialogue, and site-specific production.

This project matters because it exemplifies a growing trend of cross-disciplinary residencies that bridge contemporary art with local heritage, agriculture, and craftsmanship. By reactivating a disused mechanical workshop as a studio and exhibition space, Officina Malanotte highlights how art can reinterpret and preserve the cultural and labor history of rural territories. The emphasis on hospitality, care, and conviviality—underscored by the Bonotto family's involvement—also reflects a model of sustainable, community-engaged art practice that resonates beyond the Italian context.
