West Lancashire College art and design students are preparing to showcase their creative talents at the college's end-of-year art exhibition. The event will be held at the Skelmersdale campus, opening with a special evening on June 10 from 5:30pm to 7pm, and will also be open to the public on June 16 and 17 from 4pm to 7pm. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of student work including fine art, photography, fashion, film, graphics, and illustration.
This exhibition matters because it provides a professional platform for emerging young artists to present their work to the local community, helping prepare them for university and careers in the creative industries. It highlights the importance of local art education and community engagement in nurturing the next generation of visual artists and designers.
