ZEGNA e Cittadellarte sostengono l’arte impegnata con la piattaforma Visible. Nel 2026 vince il progetto che cura il mare delle Filippine

Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, with support from Fondazione Zegna, has awarded the VISIBLE Situated Fellowship 2026 to GOODLand, an artist-led community platform based on Bantayan Island in the Philippines. Founded in 2020 by artist Martha Atienza and proposed by VISIBLE Catalyst Zoe Butt, GOODLand works with local fishers, farmers, and institutions to integrate ecological care, coastal rights, cultural resilience, and self-sufficiency. The fellowship will fund rechargeable lighting systems to reduce the environmental impact of compressor fishing and organize regular coastal and seabed clean-ups.

The award marks the latest evolution of Visible, a platform launched in 2010 to support socially engaged art practices. Originally the Visible Award (2011–2019), Europe’s first prize for socially engaged art, it transitioned into Situated Fellowships in 2022 to provide long-term structural support. The partnership with ZEGNA through ZEGNART underscores a growing corporate commitment to art that addresses climate crisis and social transformation, positioning the initiative as a model for translocal, community-driven ecological action.
