The museum will house one of North America’s largest collections of contemporary Australian Aboriginal art, featuring over 100 paintings and sculptures. The project stems from the company’s 60-year business history in Australia and follows the philanthropic model of Crown’s previous local cultural investments.
This development is significant as it establishes a major U.S. hub for First Nations Australian art, a niche that has gained immense global market value and critical recognition since the 1970s.
