Crown's New Art Project

Crown Equipment has announced the construction of the Modern Aboriginal Art Museum in New Bremen, Ohio, a 23,700-square-foot facility scheduled to open in late 2026. The museum will house one of North America’s largest collections of contemporary Australian Aboriginal art, featuring over 100 paintings and sculptures. The project stems from the company’s 60-year business history in Australia and follows the philanthropic model of Crown’s previous local cultural investments.

This development is significant as it establishes a major U.S. hub for First Nations Australian art, a niche that has gained immense global market value and critical recognition since the 1970s. By placing a world-class collection in a small Ohio town, the museum aims to become a national destination for the study of the world's longest continuous living culture, despite the company currently maintaining strict secrecy regarding the specific provenance and curation of the works.
