The Cultural Center of Spain in Panama is hosting an exhibition titled 'The Dimension of the Invisible: Ecofeminist Traces of Panamanian Art' until April 1, 2026. The show features traditional and digital works by ten Panamanian and international artists who explore the intersections of nature, culture, and the body from an ecofeminist viewpoint, challenging established boundaries between the human and non-human.
The exhibition is significant for its focused curatorial lens, framing Panamanian art through ecofeminist theory and positioning the body and nature as political, transformative spaces. By organizing the works into four thematic nuclei and fostering a dialogue between local and international perspectives, it aims to generate new narratives about territory, community, and shared memory, contributing to a broader global discourse on art, ecology, and feminism.
