The Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach has officially dedicated its Fine Arts Wing to artist and philanthropist Ellen Liman. A longtime board member and supporter, Liman recently opened a new gallery and studio in Palm Beach Towers, pledging all proceeds from her artwork sales to the school's foundation.
This dedication highlights the significant impact of private philanthropy on public arts education. Liman’s contributions specifically fund the Visual Arts and Digital Arts & Photography departments, while providing over $30,000 in scholarships for students to attend prestigious summer programs at institutions like the School of Visual Arts and Ringling College of Art and Design.
