Clarendon Fine Art is set to open a new gallery in a former Santander bank building on High Street in Market Harborough. The national art retailer plans to launch the space in mid-April 2026, creating three new jobs in the process. The move follows the closure of the bank branch last summer, which was the town's last remaining physical bank.
This opening reflects a broader trend of commercial art galleries revitalizing vacant high street retail spaces left behind by the banking sector. By expanding into thriving market towns, Clarendon Fine Art aims to tap into local regional markets and integrate high-end art retail into community hubs outside of major metropolitan centers.
