The Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center in Kansas City has launched a new group exhibition titled “Our Voices, Our Truth... In Peace.” The showcase features diverse works from 25 local and national artists, utilizing various mediums including oil painting and poetry to explore themes of identity and heritage.
This exhibition is significant for its intersectional focus on Black and women’s history, providing a platform for artists to engage with cultural narratives. By offering free public access through April 10, the center reinforces its role as a vital community hub for historical reflection and artistic expression in the region.
