Artist Yasmine Robinson has opened her first solo exhibition, titled 'Glimmers,' at the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Derry. The exhibition features abstract works inspired by the North West landscape, capturing moments of optimistic feeling she describes as 'glimmers,' a term from psychotherapy.
The exhibition marks a significant milestone for the Claudy-born artist, representing a full-circle moment in her career after studying in Belfast and London and returning to teach at Ulster University. It highlights the CCA's ongoing mission to support emerging local artists, providing a platform for Robinson to share her deeply personal connection to the regional landscape with the Derry community.
