Litavie Art Gallery in Glendale presented a solo exhibition titled 'Where Motion Becomes Memory' by artist Zareh from April 2 to 11. The opening night featured remarks from artist Seta Injeyan, who analyzed Zareh's work, and the event was documented with photos of Zareh alongside Injeyan and art critic Peter Frank.
The exhibition highlights Zareh's artistic journey, which is shaped by his identity and experiences, including his childhood in Aleppo and Beirut, displacement due to the Lebanese Civil War, and emigration to the United States. His work, which explores themes of resilience and memory through painting, drawing, and performance art, has gained recognition in major media and was recently featured in a monograph published by Armenian Arts.
